LQA (Linguistic Quality Assurance) is the linguistic review of a localized website, application (desktop or mobile) or other software before it is released.
During the LQA, reviewers are asked to check the linguistic aspects (e.g. punctuation, spelling, typos, corrupt characters, truncated words, etc.) of the translated content based on a test plan provided by the client.
The LQA is usually paid per hour and clients often prefer experienced language professionals to carry out this task.
